International Association of Privacy Professionals

The International Association of Privacy Professionals, or IAPP, is the world leading association for data privacy. TechGDPR is a corporate member of the IAPP enabling participation in a network of privacy professionals and supporting the  team of TechGDPR to stay constantly up to date with the latest privacy certifications and updates. Furthermore, in being part of the IAPP ecosystem our team of consultants is empowered to proactively lead the charge in the ever-evolving landscape of privacy certifications and cutting-edge privacy developments. For TechGDPR, the corporate membership encompasses our commitment to continuous growth and unwavering dedication to staying knowledgeable about data security, governance, and privacy standards and regulations. In addition, TechGDPR is an official foundational supporter of the IA Governance initiatives of the IAPP.

TechGDPR is a Bitkom member, which is Germany’s largest digital technology industry association. Being a Bitkom member grants TechGDPR access to invaluable knowledge and expertise through a vast network connecting tech experts and regulatory professionals, but also empowers quicker adaptation to regulations and the development of innovative methods which allow for a deeper understanding of the current state of technological advancements.

INATBA

As a founding member of INATBA and initiator of the Privacy Working Group, TechGDPR has been involved in several strategic research and reporting efforts to clarify and explore options and solutions for blockchain and privacy regulation (GDPR and others) work together.

BerChain e.V.

Silvan Jongerius, managing partner of TechGDPR is also the founder and current (second term) president of the non-profit BerChain, with the aim to advance, connect and position Berlin as blockchain capital. BerChain has over 40 members from blockchain startups to corporates using blockchain. BerChain is regularly invited to contribute to discussions on a Berlin, German and EU political level regarding regulation and privacy aspects of blockchain.

Berufsverband der Datenschutzbeauftragten Deutschlands (BvD) e.V. / Association of data protection officers Germany.

The Association of Data Protection Officers Germany (BvD) represents the interests of around 1,800 data protection officers in companies and public agencies as well as consultants from all over Germany. Founded in 1989, it is the oldest professional association in the industry. TechGDPR is a member in BvD and is committed to the code of practice for DPOs.

DIN

TechGDPR contributed extensively as part of a consortium to DIN SPEC 4997:2020-04 Privacy by Blockchain Design: A standardised model for processing personal data using blockchain technology.

Blockchain Bundesverband e.V.

TechGDPR is a member of Blockchain Bundesverband e.V., which is a German non profit association founded in 2017, with the purpose of supporting the integration of blockchain in the public sphere and with the intent to garner federal support within Germany for the use of blockchain as well as other innovative decentralized technologies. As a member, TechGDPR aligns itself with the core values around decentralized technologies and is a supporter of the continual adoption of blockchain technologies. The association consists of over ninety members collaborating on key policy and promotion of blockchain technology and provides a high quality network of innovative companies who wish to promote the usage of blockchain technologies. Notably, TechGDPR is one of the co-authors of one of the first position papers on GDPR and Blockchain by the Bundesblock Privacy working group.

Akarion

TechGDPR works with Akarion and their compliance cloud product to provide our clients with solid data protection management tools. We also contribute with regular feedback to the improvement of the solutions and support with Akarion implementations.

OneTrust

TechGDPR is a OneTrust partner, giving us access to industry standard tools and supporting our clients with OneTrust implementation and roll outs. Some of our team is also OneTrust certified.
