Silvan Jongerius is the Managing Partner and Founder of TechGDPR, where he applies his extensive experience in privacy, GDPR compliance, web3, and technological innovation. Before starting TechGDPR in 2018, his career encompassed over 13 years in senior leadership roles, including positions as CTO, divisional CIO for multinational corporations, and managing director.His work extends to various facets of technology and data protection. As consultant, speaker, consultant, and educator, Silvan shares his knowledge in GDPR compliance and blockchain.
Silvan established BerChain e.V., a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting blockchain in Berlin, and contributes to the data privacy community as the co-chair of the IAPP Knowledgenet Berlin chapter for 2024-2025.
Holding certifications such as CIPP/e, CIPT, and TÜV Datenschutzbeauftragter, Silvan is also a PRINCE2, NLP, and ITIL v3 practitioner. His expertise is recognized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, which awarded him the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation.
