Training Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings of in-person training courses, including the CIPP/e Certificate Training.

1. Registration and Payment:

1.1. Registration for the training course is considered complete upon receipt of the registration form and full payment of the course fee.
1.2. Payment must be made in the currency specified in the invoice. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the participant.
1.3. Course fees are non-refundable, except as outlined in the “Cancellation and Refund” section.

2. Course Content and Schedule:

2.1. The course content, duration, and schedule are subject to change at the discretion of the training provider. Participants will be notified of any changes in advance.
2.2. The training provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative course date or a refund.

3. Participant Conduct:

3.1. Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully towards trainers, staff, and fellow participants.
3.2. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or any inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the course without a refund.

4. Course Materials:

4.1. All course materials, including handouts, presentations, and any electronic resources, are provided solely for the participant’s personal use.
4.2. Unauthorized distribution, reproduction, or sharing of course materials is prohibited without prior written consent from the training provider.

5. Cancellation and Refund:

5.1. Cancellations made by participants must be submitted in writing. Cancellations received more than 14 days before the course start date will be eligible for a 50% refund of the course fee.
5.2. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date.
5.3. Substitute participants can be nominated to attend the course in place of the original participant without any additional charge.

6. Liability and Insurance:

6.1. Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and personal belongings during the course. The training provider shall not be liable for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property.
6.2. Participants are encouraged to have their own insurance coverage for the duration of the course.

7. Intellectual Property:

7.1. All intellectual property rights related to the training materials, content, and methodologies remain the property of the training provider.
7.2. Participants are prohibited from using, adapting, or reproducing the training content for commercial purposes without written consent from the training provider.

8. Photography and Recording:

8.1. Participants are not allowed to record, photograph, or film any part of the training without explicit permission from the training provider and all participants involved.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

9.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin.
