Here is more information about CastleFile:

CastleFile is a file encryption tool that combines security with creativity. This tool empowers users to encrypt files using their unique chess moves as the encryption key. By playing a minimum of four chess moves (against a bot), users generate a cryptographic key based on their move sequence. This personalization makes the encryption highly secure and almost impossible to replicate.

All encryption and decryption processes happen locally in the browser, ensuring that the user’s data never leaves their device. CastleFile supports any file type or size, including documents, photos, videos, and compressed archives. It leverages AES-GCM (Advanced Encryption Standard – Galois/Counter Mode), a globally trusted encryption standard, for robust and reliable protection of sensitive data.

Additionally, CastleFile is beginner-friendly, offering chess move suggestions to help users unfamiliar with chess. The platform stores no keys, providing complete control and privacy to users. This innovative approach ensures not only top-notch security but also a fun and engaging encryption process, setting CastleFile apart from traditional encryption services.

Currently, the tool is not open source, but plans for future code transparency are being explored. Find out more about the source code through the github repository.
